 As we understand you cannot try garments on before purchasing, we are happy to provide you a refund or credit note, provided your garment(s) arrive back to us within 7 days of receipt (30 days for international customers).

Jewelry cannot be returned because of a change of mind. This is for health and safety reasons. Jewelry will only be accepted as a return if faulty.

 RETURNS ON NEW ZEALAND ORDERS:

For FULL-PRICED ITEMS, you can choose between:
1) A monetary refund of the garment/item price, excluding shipping. If you received free shipping, NZ$12.20 will be deducted from your refund to cover the original cost of shipping. OR
2) A credit note to full the value of the garment/item price, excluding shipping. If you received free shipping, NZ$12.20 will be deducted from your refund to cover the original cost of shipping.

SALE and DISCOUNTED ITEMS REDUCED by 49% AND LESS can be returned for a credit note only. You will receive a credit for the full amount spent on the garment/item, excluding shipping. If you received free shipping, NZ$15 will be deducted from your refund to cover the original cost of shipping. We will contact you with details on this. Your credit note will never expire and can be spent on anything in store or online.

SALE and DISCOUNTED ITEMS REDUCED by 50% AND MORE cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded (unless faulty). Items reduced by more than 50% are clearance items and all sales on such items are considered final.

For FULL-PRICED ITEMS, you can choose between: 
1) A full-monetary refund of the garment/item price, minus the NZ$45 shipping fee OR 
2) A credit note to the full value of the garment/item price, minus the original NZ$45 shipping fee.

 Garments should be returned new, unused and with all designer tags still attached.

Returns that are damaged, soiled, tags removed or altered may not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.

We will not accept the return of items that have make-up stains, animal hair or deodorant marks/smell as these are signs of wear.

It is essential that returned items have not been worn, all labels are attached, and that you take care to protect the item/s when posting.

If garments are damaged or marked by you, we have the right to return them to you and not authorize a refund.

HOW TO OBTAIN A REFUND

You can obtain a refund for your online purchase by sending it back to our store in Te Puna Village, after you have notified us by email on info@afterhours.boutique

Please enclose your completed returns form and garments, and post back to us using a traceable mail method within 7 days of delivery. For New Zealand customers who qualify for free returns (see above), information will be provided to you about how to go about making your return.

Your return will be processed within 1-3 days of receipt and once we have inspected the items returned.

Unless they qualify for free returns, customers are responsible for return shipping charges and ensuring the parcel arrives to us safely.

We cannot process returns on missing parcels or items that are damaged in transit on the way back to us.

During promotions that include a "Free gift with purchase", if an entire order is returned for a refund or credit note, the gift must also be returned with the garment/s. The RRP value of the gift will be deducted from the refund or credit note if the gifted item is not returned.

EXCHANGES ON NEW ZEALAND ORDERS

If you would like to exchange an online purchase for another style or size please contact us via email on info@afterhours.boutique

Once items have been exchanged, they are no longer eligible for a refund and can only be returned for a store credit (as long as they arrive to us within 14 days of receipt).

You can also exchange full price merchandise in our store within 14 days of receipt. Please contact info@afterhours.boutique, and notify us of your contact details and the size and style that you require so we can confirm availability.

For all exchanges, please ensure that the item(s) are unworn and in the original condition in which you received them and remember to include your receipt to verify your purchase.

Please note that items that have been reduced by more than 50% are not eligible for exchange, either in-store or online. All sales on such items are considered final, so please choose carefully.

EXCHANGES ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (INCL. AUSTRALIAN)

As above, except international orders have 30 days from delivery to return the item for exchange or refund due to longer shipping times. 

FAULTY GARMENTS

On the off chance that you receive a garment that is faulty, you must inform us within 3 days of receipt and return the unworn item within 7 days of receipt for us to replace or refund. If you choose to obtain a refund, the full amount you paid for the faulty item will be refunded, excluding shipping costs. According to the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act, it is the buyer's financial responsibility to return an item.

Please note that items that have been damaged due to wear and tear, or from being washed incorrectly, are not considered to be faulty, therefore are not eligible for exchange or refund.

We provide care labels on all of our garments to ensure they keep their original quality. If your garment is damaged because it was washed incorrectly we do not accept them back for return.
